Common questions
How do I know my shingles need replacing?
Curled or cracked shingles, bare spots, lots of granules in the gutters, or a leak after heavy rain. An inspection tells you for sure.
Do you come out to Laval?
Yes. Call us or send the form and we’ll set up a time to look at your roof.
My roof is the original from when the house was built. Should I replace it now?
Age alone doesn’t decide it. If the shingles are still lying flat and the attic is dry, it may have years left. An inspection tells you whether to replace now or plan for it.
Do you take the old shingles off first?
Always. We don’t shingle over an old roof: it hides damage we need to see, and the same problems come back.
Why does attic ventilation matter?
Air has to come in at the soffits and out at the top. Without that, the shingles bake in summer and ice builds at the eaves in winter, and the roof wears out years early.
What warranty do I get?
At least ten years on our workmanship, plus the manufacturer’s warranty on the shingles. If something goes wrong, we come back and fix it.
