Montreal & suburbs
Areas we serve
Montreal’s roofs change from one neighbourhood to the next. Westmount and Outremont are slate and copper, the Plateau and Rosemont are flat roofs on plexes, and the West Island and Laval are mostly shingles. Each area page below covers the roofs we see there and the problems that come with them.
Don’t see your area? We work across Montreal and the suburbs. Call us and ask.
Slate, copper & heritage roofs
Westmount
Westmount has some of the finest old roofs on the island: natural slate on mansards and turrets, copper on bays and dormers, and sheet-metal cornices that have been up for a century.

Our home base
NDG & Montreal West
Our office is on Oxford Avenue in NDG, so these are the streets we know best. When you call from around here, we’re close by.

Flat roofs on plexes
Plateau & Mile End
On the Plateau, most roofs are flat roofs on duplexes and triplexes, tucked behind a brick parapet. From the sidewalk you only see the cornice, and the slate or shingle front of a false mansard.

Plexes, flat roofs, leak repair
Rosemont, Petite-Patrie & Villeray
Street after street of brick duplexes and triplexes, almost all with flat roofs. Many owners live on one floor and rent the others, so a leak is never just your own problem.

Heritage homes, slate & metal
Outremont
Outremont’s big brick and stone houses were built to last, and many still have their slate roofs, copper dormers and decorative metalwork.

Shingle roofs are our main work here
West Island
The West Island is where we replace the most shingle roofs. Bungalows, split-levels and two-storey family homes, on streets full of big old trees, and a lot of them built in the same few decades.

Shingle roofs, from bungalows to new builds
Laval
Across the Rivière des Prairies, Laval is mostly suburban homes with asphalt shingle roofs, from older bungalows to whole developments that are now due for their first new roof.

Rowhouses, plexes & shared roofs
Verdun & the Sud-Ouest
Verdun, Saint-Henri and Pointe-Saint-Charles are rows of attached brick plexes and workers’ houses, with long flat roofs running from one building to the next.
